  • 300.308 Each public agency shall ensure that assistive technology deices or services or both are made available to a child with a disability if required by (a) special education 300.17. (b) related services 300.16. (c) supplementary aids and services 300.550(b)(2)
  • 300.346 Consideration of Special Factors
  • 300.5 “Assistive technology device” is defined as: “any item, piece of equipment, or product system, whether acquired commercially off the shelf, modified, or customized, that is used to increase, maintain, or improve functional capabilities of children with disabilities.” [Authority: 20 U.S.C. Chapter 33, Section 1401 (25)]
  • 300.6 “Assistive technology service: means any service that directly assist a child with a disability in the selection, acquisition, modification or implementation of AT.
