From the Owner of Universal Technology 4 Learning

I would like to express my gratitude to the folks I have met along the way that has made my business what it is today.

While working for Wisconsin Assistive Technology Initiative, I had the awesome experience of working under the directorship of Penny Reed, followed by Jill Gierach. I would like to recognize and thank these women and the entire staff of WATI for their support and mentorship.

I would also like to recognize my years of school based Occupational Therapy and specifically my hometown school, Riverdale School District. I continue to work as a school based OT with an emphasis on assistive technology at Riverdale. Riverdale has given me the experience of hands on implementation in the field of assistive technology. I understand first hand the difficulties and successes, strategies not just tools and am able to bring these experiences to the training’s I provide for educators and therapists.

Also, I would like to thank the folks I have met during my position as chair person for the Assistive Technology Across the Lifespan Conference. This position has introduced me to so many excellent assistive technology specialist including our conference committee, the 100’s of presenters and exhibitors and the attendee’s. I am proud of the ongoing professional development we have provided in Wisconsin. Thank you all for your participation.
